Adrian Newey missed the Miami GP after being hospitalized for an illness, according to reports. The Aston Martin technical chief is now recovering and working remotely as the team seeks to improve its performance after a point-less start to the 2026 F1 campaign.
Aston Martin Team Principal and Chief Technical Officer Adrian Newey was reportedly hospitalized due to an illness, missing the Miami Grand Prix as he recovers. The F1 design legend is now said to be working from home to help steer the struggling Silverstone-based team through a difficult start to the 2026 season.
