Norris cleared by stewards, keeps Miami Sprint pole

Lando Norris will start the Miami Sprint from pole position after stewards took 'no further action' against him. He was investigated for exceeding the maximum lap time in SQ2 but successfully argued he was forced to create a gap after being passed by Nico Hülkenberg.

Lando Norris has been cleared by the FIA stewards after a post-qualifying investigation, allowing him to retain his pole position for the Miami Grand Prix Sprint. The McLaren driver was investigated for a potential breach of the Race Director's instructions regarding maximum lap times during qualifying but avoided any penalty.
